Reed Advocacy, LLC was born of my 30 years of experience in the area of disability benefits in both the public and private insurance industry. I could so clearly see the need for this kind of service for clients, yet it did not seem to exist. My focus on disability benefits was expanded further by my experiences with the Center for Patient Partnerships at the University of Wisconsin, where I earned a certificate in Consumer Health Advocacy Certificate in December 2014.

My goal is to help patients learn to navigate the choppy waters of disability benefits, insurance issues, provider relationships, work status, and many of the other problems that can further complicate the difficulty of dealing with a serious or chronic illness.

These services are provided in both English and Spanish.
